Observed Earth Hour ([Link] last night...so, the server was powered down between 20:00 and 21:00 CKT.

It still shows the webservers ipv6 address rather than the PC client ipv6 address.

Ok...squid works and it's processing ipv6 addresses.
timoti, Saturday 27 of March, 2010, 13:23:35 CKT
Ensure the install directory (/usr/local/squid) is 755/root.squid...

Uninstalled squid 3.0 for mdv2010.0 and compiled & installed squid 3.1 from source.

Added gcc, libtrie, cc-c++ support for source compilation purposes.
timoti, Saturday 27 of March, 2010, 06:42:32 CKT

Yep...the turtle is "dancing" at www.kame.net.

Ok..RADVD needs a "kick in the butt" (restart) if LAN clients do not resolve ipv6 properly.
timoti, Thursday 25 of March, 2010, 23:23:31 CKT
mmm...the mind works better in the late hours at night.
timoti, Thursday 25 of March, 2010, 23:16:23 CKT
Hah..a browse to www.avonsys.com now shows the ipv6 address of my PC on the LAN....it bloody works by including .avonsys.com in the "No Proxy" selection on the Client. Yep, Squid certainly is blocking ipv6 activity.
timoti, Thursday 25 of March, 2010, 23:07:43 CKT
Proxy configuration on LAN clients must include local domains in the "No Proxy" selection set. Need to investigate the configuration of Squid.
timoti, Thursday 25 of March, 2010, 23:01:54 CKT
Also check RADVD if LAN clients are not resolving for ipv6.

Modified route in /bin/tunnel-he to route -A inet6 add ::192.88.99.1/ dev sit1. This enabled traceroute6 to work from the internet.
